Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (6) English muffins (frozen)
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. Romano/Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 lb. sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Slice the frozen English muffins in half to create individual bases.
  2. Arrange the muffin halves and toppings such as tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, grated Romano/Parmesan cheese, and sliced pepperoni in separate dishes.
  3. Provide each child with a paper towel to work on.
  4. Let children assemble their own pizzas by spooning sauce onto the muffin halves, then adding cheeses and pepperoni.
  5. Place the assembled pizzas on a cookie sheet and broil for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges are slightly browned.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool briefly before serving and enjoying.
