Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 box French vanilla pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Bake the yellow cake according to the directions on the box and let it cool.
  2. Punch holes in the cooled cake with a fork.
  3. Cook the crushed pineapple and sugar together for 15 minutes.
  4. Pour the cooked pineapple mixture over the cooled cake.
  5. Make the French vanilla pudding as directed on the box.
  6. Spread the pudding over the pineapple-covered cake.
  7. Add shredded coconut and nuts on top.
  8. Chill the cake overnight before serving.
