Ingredients

  • 3 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 c. pecans or roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place popcorn and nuts in a greased jellyroll pan.
  2. Melt butter and sugar with syrup and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Do not stir.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in soda and vanilla.
  7. Pour mixture over popcorn.
  8. Stir until coated.
  9. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring often after 15 minutes.
  10. Cool and break.
  11. Store in airtight container.
