Lamb And String Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 5 or 6 shoulder chops, cut in half
  • 1 large onion, sliced and cut in half
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 can plum tomatoes
  • 5 potatoes, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 box frozen whole string beans
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute chops in butter.
  2. Add onions and garlic.
  3. Add plum tomatoes and season; cook for 1/2 hour.
  4. Then add potatoes and cook for another 15 minutes.
  5. Then add string beans.
  6. Cook until done (15 minutes or so).
  7. Serve with Italian bread and a green salad.
