Layered Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • margarine or meat

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, starting with the cabbage, layer the vegetables, ending with the cabbage.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add margarine or desired meat for seasoning. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  5. Serves 6 to 8.
