Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until thick.
  2. Add sugar, salt, vanilla and flour sifted with baking powder.
  3. Scald milk and butter.
  4. Beat into batter and thoroughly mix.
  5. Pour into greased 8-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350° until toothpick comes out clean.
