Ingredients

  • 12 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups orange juice or 1/2 cup frozen concentrate
  • 2/3 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Bring 12 cups of boiling water to a boil.
  2. Drop in tea bags and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and discard.
  4. In a separate pot, combine 2 cups orange juice, 2/3 cup lemon juice, 4 cups water, 2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon allspice, and 1 teaspoon nutmeg.
  5. Heat the mixture until sugar is dissolved and flavors meld.
  6. Pour the spiced citrus tea into cups and serve hot.
