Ingredients

  • 3 medium turnips (1 lb.)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Peel turnips and cut into 1/2-inch cubes or 2 x 1/2-inch sticks.
  2. Cook, covered, in a small amount of boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Stir in margarine or butter, sliced green onion or snipped parsley, and lemon juice.
  5. Season to taste.
