Lemon Loaf Bread

Instructions
- Mix shortening and sugar.
- Add eggs and lemon rind.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add to shortening mixture, along with milk.
- Mix together well.
- Put in loaf pan. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes.
- While baking mix lemon juice and powdered sugar.
- When loaf is done, spoon lemon juice mixture over loaf while hot.
- Cool in pan.
