Lemon Mint Tea

A refreshing lemon mint tea blended with pineapple juice and flavorings, perfect for cooling down on warm days or serving at gatherings with vibrant citrus and mint notes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags
  • 2 lemons, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, crushed
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • fresh mint sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags.
  3. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Add lemon slices and crushed mint leaves to the tea.
  5. Cover and steep for an additional 20 minutes.
  6. Strain the tea, discarding tea bags, lemon slices, and mint leaves.
  7. Combine the strained tea with the remaining 2 cups of water, pineapple juice, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  8. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
  9. Serve the beverage over ice and garnish with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.
