Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup apricot nectar

Instructions

  1. Mix the lemon cake mix, sugar, oil, eggs, and apricot nectar well until combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Remove from oven and let stand in cold water for about 5 minutes.
  5. Turn out the cake onto a plate while still warm.
  6. Glaze the cake with a mixture of 1 cup powdered sugar and lemon juice.
