Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines lemon cake mix
  • 2 (4 serving size each) pkg. lemon Jell-O
  • 1 pkg. lemon flavor instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Bake the lemon cake in a large dish according to the directions on the box.
  2. Allow the cake to cool thoroughly.
  3. Pierce the cooled cake with a fork at 1/2 inch intervals.
  4. Stir 4 cups of boiling water into the lemon Jell-O and stir for 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  5. Carefully pour the hot Jell-O mixture over the cake.
  6. Cool the cake in the refrigerator until the Jell-O is set.
  7. In a bowl, pour 1 cup cold milk; add the lemon pudding mix and powdered sugar.
  8. Beat with a wire whisk for 2 minutes until smooth and thickened.
  9. Stir in Cool Whip and spread the mixture evenly over the cake.
