Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, cooled lentils, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • tomato juice
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the cooked, cooled lentils, egg, cracker crumbs, minced onion, and salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, adding just enough tomato juice to hold the mixture in shape when pattied.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Fry the patties in a small amount of hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
