Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Warm water and sprinkle on yeast; warm milk and melt oleo in it.
  2. Add to yeast mixture along with sugar and egg.
  3. Mix in 2 cups flour with mixer, then add 1 1/2 cups more flour by hand.
  4. Cover and let rise until double, about 45 minutes to an hour.
