Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 c. flour, sifted and measured
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in mixer bowl. Beat on third speed for 20 minutes. Bake in ungreased tube pan.
  2. Put in cold oven.
  3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
