Ingredients

  • 1 lb liver, sliced
  • 12 slices bacon
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the liver and cover with boiling water.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. Season the liver with salt and pepper.
  4. Brown the bacon slices in a hot frying pan.
  5. Add chopped onions and cook for a few minutes.
  6. Add the liver to the pan and cook, turning frequently, for about 10 minutes or until done.
  7. Remove the browned bacon from the pan while cooking the onions and liver after turning the liver once.
  8. Add the bacon back to the pan when the liver and onions are finished cooking.
  9. Serve the liver and onions with bacon on top.
