- Wash the liver and cover with boiling water.
- Let stand for 5 minutes, then drain.
- Season the liver with salt and pepper.
- Brown the bacon slices in a hot frying pan.

- Add the liver to the pan and cook, turning frequently, for about 10 minutes or until done.
- Remove the browned bacon from the pan while cooking the onions and liver after turning the liver once.
- Add the bacon back to the pan when the liver and onions are finished cooking.
