Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup
  • Li Hing Mui seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare candy molds and sticks for the lollipops.
  2. Combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup Karo syrup in a saucepan.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches the hard crack stage (about 300°F or 150°C).
  4. Remove from heat and quickly pour into prepared molds.
  5. Insert sticks into the molds before the mixture hardens completely.
  6. Sprinkle Li Hing Mui seeds onto the surface of the melted candy before it cools completely.
  7. Allow the lollipops to cool and harden completely before removing from molds.
