Ingredients

  • 2 c. meal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. soda
  • 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil or starch

Instructions

  1. Add buttermilk until the mixture is the consistency of cake batter.
  2. Bake in large skillet at 450° until brown.
