Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 3/4 c. Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned)
  • 1 egg or 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients; mix thoroughly.
  2. Press into an 8 x 4-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  4. Drain.
  5. Serves 8.
