Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. water
  • apples

Instructions

  1. Pare the apples and quarter them.
  2. Cream together the brown sugar, melted butter, flour, and vanilla.
  3. Add water to the creamed mixture and stir well.
  4. Place the quartered apples in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the mixture over the apples.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F or 375°F until the apples are tender.
