Ingredients

  • 1 pt. jar marshmallow cream
  • 2 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • chopped nuts (if desired)

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9 x 12-inch (or larger) pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine marshmallow cream, milk chocolate morsels, and margarine.
  3. In a heavy large kettle, combine sugar and evaporated milk.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Once it starts to boil, set a timer and cook for 9 minutes.
  6. Pour the hot sugar mixture over the ingredients in the large mixing bowl.
  7. Beat until well blended.
  8. Add vanilla and chopped nuts, if desired.
  9. Pour the mixture into the buttered pan and let it cool before cutting.
