Macaroni With Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. macaroni
  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen broccoli
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni.
  2. Drain and reserve 3 cups liquid.
  3. Set aside. Cook broccoli and set aside.
  4. In a large saucepan, brown garlic with oil and pepper.
  5. Add drained macaroni and broccoli with the 3 cups reserved liquid.
  6. Simmer about 10 minutes.
  7. Top with grated cheese.
