Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (3 cups)
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place 1 cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  3. Spread browned and drained ground beef over the noodles.
  4. Spread cottage cheese over the beef.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese over the cottage cheese.
  6. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over the layers, ending with sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top layer.
  8. Pour water around the edges of the pan.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  10. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
  11. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
