- Cream butter, adding sugar gradually. Beat with electric mixer for 10 minutes. (She beat her batter by hand). Sift dry ingredients. Add eggs one at a time to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. Add flour mixture with milk, almond, and vanilla extracts. Pour into 3 greased 9 inch pans. Line bottom of pans with wax paper. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks.
