Mandarin Orange Cookie Salad

A light, fruity dessert salad combining mandarin oranges, pineapple, vanilla pudding, and cookies, perfect for potlucks, picnics, or casual gatherings with a sweet, citrusy flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 small instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can mandarin oranges (keep out 10 orange slices)

Instructions

  1. Beat the buttermilk and vanilla pudding until thick.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip.
  3. Add drained crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges.
  4. Crush 15 cookies and fold into the mixture.
  5. Smooth out the mixture and decorate with cookie halves and orange slices.
  6. Cut 5 cookies in half and set aside orange slices.
  7. Alternate placing cookies and orange slices in the salad.
  8. Stand the cookies up for presentation.
