Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. pure maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and nuts in a mixing bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl; beat well.
  2. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients; stir just until flour is moistened.
  3. Spoon into 12 greased muffin pan wells.
  4. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in muffin comes out clean.
