Marbled Orange Fudge

- Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, heavy or whipping cream, and the remaining butter. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Bring the mixture to a boil; cook while stirring for 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla chips and marshmallow cream until smooth.
- Remove 1 cup of the mixture and set aside.
- Add the orange extract and food colorings to the remaining mixture in the saucepan, and stir until blended.
- Pour the orange-colored mixture into the prepared pan.
- Drop the reserved mixture by spoonfuls over the top of the orange mixture.
- Use a knife to swirl the mixtures together to create a marbled effect.
- Cover and refrigerate until set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
