Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy or whipping cream
  • 1-10-12 oz package vanilla chips
  • 1-7 oz jar marshmallow cream
  • 3 teaspoons orange extract
  • 12 drops yellow food coloring

Instructions

  1. Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, heavy or whipping cream, and the remaining butter. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil; cook while stirring for 4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla chips and marshmallow cream until smooth.
  5. Remove 1 cup of the mixture and set aside.
  6. Add the orange extract and food colorings to the remaining mixture in the saucepan, and stir until blended.
  7. Pour the orange-colored mixture into the prepared pan.
  8. Drop the reserved mixture by spoonfuls over the top of the orange mixture.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the mixtures together to create a marbled effect.
  10. Cover and refrigerate until set.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.
