Marinated Ham Salad

Ingredients

  • 133 ml Olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 66 ml Vinegar
  • 2/3 tsp Salt
  • 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
  • 8 to 10 slices Thinly sliced ham
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Parsley

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Cut the ham into quarters.
  2. Cut the onion in half lengthwise and slice thinly.
  3. For the marinade: Put the olive oil and vinegar and mix well with a whisk.
  4. After it's mixed, add salt and pepper and whisk well until emulsified.
  5. Put some of the onion in a plastic container, then add ham, and continue alternating the layers.
  6. Drizzle the marinade.
  7. Close the lid of the container and leave to rest in the fridge for about half a day to let the flavour absorb.
  8. To marinate evenly, stir several times.
  9. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
