- In a glass baking dish, place uncooked scallops; pour lime juice over them and let stand covered for 1 hour.
- Stir in uncooked shrimp, chopped avocado (coarse), onion (fine), olive oil and coriander; refrigerate, covered for 8 hours or overnight. Spoon scallop-shrimp mixture into a dish that is then placed in a large bowl of crushed ice for serving.
- Garnish with lime slices.
