Ingredients

  • 4 large red tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the tomatoes into about five slices each.
  2. Combine salad oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and oregano in a bowl.
  3. Mix the marinade well.
  4. Pour the marinade over the sliced tomatoes.
  5. Chill, covered, for at least one hour before serving.
