Ingredients

  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain and mash the potatoes.
  2. Add the cream cheese to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Mix in the butter, garlic salt, and pepper.
  4. Gradually add heavy cream while mixing until smooth.
  5. Grease a baking pan and transfer the mashed potatoes into it.
  6. Top with additional butter if desired.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until heated through and golden on top.
