Ingredients

  • 1 fryer chicken
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cans chicken bouillon or 2 bouillon cubes in 2 c. water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. shortening

Instructions

  1. Salt, pepper and flour chicken and brown quickly in shortening.
  2. Saute in drippings until soft, green pepper, onion and celery, then add flour to thicken gravy.
  3. Place over chicken in casserole and then add bouillon.
  4. Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
