Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 to 5 potatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Stir and brown ground beef and 1-1/2 tsp. of salt.
  2. Chop course in food grinder or food processor potatoes, carrots and onions and add to browned meat mixture.
  3. Add 1 tsp. salt, pepper and milk.
  4. Cover and cook slowly 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir occasionally, adding more milk if needed. Continue cooking uncovered about 3 minutes longer or until thick.
