Meatless Chili Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can black beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can navy beans
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 c. picante sauce (I use medium or mild sauce instead of hot)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a very large pot and bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
  2. Makes 10 cups.
  3. Freezes well.
