Ingredients

  • 1 small box elbow macaroni
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1 1/2 qt. water, salted

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil.
  2. Add macaroni and cook for about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the macaroni.
  4. Place the macaroni in a pan and pour the can of mashed tomatoes over the top.
  5. Add bacon grease and grated cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; stir all together.
  7. Sprinkle some grated cheese and bacon bits on top.
  8. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
