A rich and warming Mexican chocolate drink blending semi-sweet chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, and vanilla for a comforting beverage perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. In a 4-cup measuring cup, put chocolate, coffee, and 1/2 cup water.
  2. Heat in a microwave oven for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and stir in vanilla and ground cinnamon.
  4. Heat for an additional 8 minutes or until hot.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
