Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package yellow rice dinner
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies
  • Doritos chips, crushed

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to the meat; simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the yellow rice dinner according to package instructions.
  4. Melt the Velveeta cheese and mix with the Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies.
  5. Combine the cooked meat, prepared rice, and cheese mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with crushed Doritos chips.
