Ingredients

  • 5 lb. stewing chicken
  • 1/2 c. bacon drippings
  • 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • 8 oz. can tomato puree
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Simmer chicken until tender.
  2. Cool in broth.
  3. Skin, bone and cut in small pieces.
  4. Heat bacon drippings.
