Ingredients

  • 1 Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • hot chili or baked beans

Instructions

  1. Season the ground chuck with salt.
  2. Shape the seasoned meat into 6 patties.
  3. Saute the patties until they reach desired doneness.
  4. Prepare the cornbread mix according to package instructions and slice into squares.
  5. Toast the cornbread squares until golden.
  6. Place one patty on each toasted cornbread square.
  7. Pour hot chili or baked beans over each assembled serving.
