Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans seasoned tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown meat; drain off excess fat.
  2. Add onion, pepper and garlic.
  3. Cook 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer 2 hours.
  6. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti.
  7. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
