Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a microwave-safe casserole for about 1 minute.
  2. Add rice, Lipton onion soup mix, and water to the casserole.
  3. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Microwave on high for 8 minutes.
  5. Stir with a fork to fluff.
  6. Cover with Saran Wrap and microwave for 8 more minutes.
  7. Stir again with a fork just enough to fluff and check for softness.
  8. Microwave for another 1 to 2 minutes until rice is done.
