Ingredients

  • 1/2 box cake mix (yellow, white, or lemon)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix half a box of cake mix with half of the required ingredients on the box, using only 1 egg.
  2. Pour the batter over the crushed pineapple and brown sugar in an 8-inch square dish, including some pineapple juice.
  3. Microwave uncovered for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes.
  4. Rotate the dish and microwave for an additional 4 1/2 minutes.
  5. Let the cake rest; it may look undone but will finish cooking while resting.
