Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a quart-sized measuring cup on High for 30 seconds.
  2. Add flour and seasonings; stir well.
  3. Add a little of the milk and stir until smooth, then add the rest of the milk and stir well.
  4. Microwave for 2 minutes on High.
  5. Stir well and microwave for an additional 2 minutes, until sauce thickens.
