Date-Nut Krispies
Sweet, chewy date-nut Krispies combine rich dates, crunchy nuts, and crispy cereal for a delightful treat suitable for snacking or sharing with friends and family.

Instructions
- Combine dates, sugar, margarine, and egg in a saucepan and cook, stirring until thickened.
- Remove from stove and stir in Rice Krispies and nuts.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar in the bottom of a cookie sheet.
- Spread the mixture in the cookie sheet and sift more powdered sugar on top.
- Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares and store in a closed container.
- Will keep indefinitely in the refrigerator.
