Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/8 to 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl with a lid, place the peeled and cubed potatoes with water.
  2. Cook on full power for 13 minutes, stirring thoroughly once halfway through cooking time.
  3. Add margarine to the bowl; leave covered for 3 to 4 minutes to melt.
  4. Mash the potatoes well.
  5. Add milk slowly to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Serve with additional margarine, salt, and pepper if desired.
