Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan or two (8-inch) round pans.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter; add sour cream, eggs and vanilla.
  4. Sift together flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture; beat well.
  5. Pour into prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done.
