A creamy, fruity gelatin dessert combining milk, fruit jello, and sweetened gelatin, perfect for a refreshing treat that suits all ages and occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg Knox gelatine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 box jello (any flavor)
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix the Knox gelatine with 1/4 cup hot water until dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining sugar, evaporated milk, and the flavoring from the jello box.
  3. Add the dissolved gelatine to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Pour in 2 cups of hot water and mix thoroughly.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add 1/4 cup cold water.
  6. Once the mixture starts to cool but is still pourable, add the prepared jello flavor (if using flavored jello).
  7. Refrigerate for approximately 30 to 45 minutes until partly set.
  8. If desired, add another layer of unflavored or differently flavored jello and refrigerate until fully set.
