Milk Jello

- Mix the Knox gelatine with 1/4 cup hot water until dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, combine the remaining sugar, evaporated milk, and the flavoring from the jello box.
- Add the dissolved gelatine to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour in 2 cups of hot water and mix thoroughly.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add 1/4 cup cold water.
- Once the mixture starts to cool but is still pourable, add the prepared jello flavor (if using flavored jello).
- Refrigerate for approximately 30 to 45 minutes until partly set.
- If desired, add another layer of unflavored or differently flavored jello and refrigerate until fully set.
