Ingredients

  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 can pumpkin pie filling
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar, oil and eggs.
  2. Add molasses and pumpkin.
  3. Combine flour with salt, soda and spices.
  4. Add water.
  5. Beat until smooth. Pour into 3 greased and floured bread pans.
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
