Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 1 lb. cooked roast beef
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. grape wine or juice
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Stem, core, and thinly slice the apples, then cut the slices into 8 to 10 pieces.
  2. Cut the cooked roast beef into small pieces similar in size to the apple pieces.
  3. Mix the apples, cooked roast beef, raisins, cinnamon, grape wine or juice, sugar, and cloves in a bowl.
  4. Let the mixture stand in the refrigerator overnight.
