Instructions
- Mix sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch and hot milk and cook over low heat until thick.
- Cool; add vanilla.
- Crush 1 box zwieback; add 2 tablespoons sugar and melted margarine.
- Press mixture firmly in 8-inch pie plate, reserving some crumbs to sprinkle on top.
- Make topping with 3 egg whites, beaten stiff.
- Brown in hot oven.
